2024 Testimonies

“Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise?” Psalm 106:1-2, ESV

The “race” of 2024 Maranatha events is complete! So many testimonies left us praising God for the work He did in lives at camp during our Run the Race theme. We’d love to share a few!

But first, in summary, our speakers taught from Hebrews 12, pointing us to run with eyes on Jesus, persevere with the gospel in view, and look ahead to future joy of a consummated Kingdom with our God. Speakers inspired us to throw off sin and weight that hinders running after Christ, and to rest when we are weary because Jesus finished the race for us! What joy and hope. But listen to what our guests shared:

“I have been reminded of God’s truths and the purpose of why I am running the race. At times it is easy to forget or get weary. But by God’s grace I can persevere.”

“I was encouraged to continue modeling running the race for Jesus, for my child to see the importance of putting Jesus first.”

“I was very inspired by the focus of sessions, running the race that the Lord has called us to and using our stories as mile markers to point others to Jesus.”

These life-changing moments are only possible because of generous ministry partners. We intentionally keep rates low to make camp within reach for the average family, so our operating expenses far exceed our event revenue. If God is prompting you to partner with our mission to continue offering the hope of the gospel, giving families the opportunity to rest and encounter Jesus, you can give here (tax deductible).
