Summer Highlights
What a rewarding summer! We just wrapped up our July Family Camp and Ignite Youth events. Summer flew by and we finished encouraged at God’s work in hearts and lives. Family Camp teaching focused on Run the Race, our camp theme based out of Hebrews 12, encouraging families to point one another to Jesus as they run together. Ignite Youth studied God as unchanging, our sustainer, and gracious, and how those truths matter for our lives. The students learned that we, just like Israel, are prone to idolatry, and that this unchanging, sustaining, gracious God gives us good news (the gospel) in the fight!
We had a fantastic team serving this summer. Counselors led our teaching and discussion sessions for Ignite Youth for the first time ever, and they did fantastic! The students loved having their counselors lead in this way. Food service broke efficiency records, the facility has never looked so clean, and our property is beautifully set for our next church rental in a couple days. Praise God!
